Hello my friends,
Floyd has become a growing music destination, and I am finding some great places to play.
Last Saturday, July 28, I played on the porch of Sweet Providence Farm Market, while folks in rocking chairs enjoyed ice cream and barbecue. The vibe there is so good, and it being a new venue, I am inspired to get the word out. Hindsight is 20/20, but I will be playing there again September 6 from 1-3 p.m., and their music series is a weekly Saturday entertainment, featuring a variety of talent, through October, and its free. There are so many goodies there, check out their website: http://www.sweetprovidencefarm.com.
Amy videoed me there, and she is going to put me on u-tube, which you will be able to access from the above link.
Here are the rest of my July dates:
- July 5-6: http://www.winedownthetrail.com
- July 23, Wednesday, 6-9 p.m: http://www.Oddfellascantina.com (with Bill Snyder, bass fiddle and vocals)
- July 24-27: http://www.floydfest.com (with Bill)
- July 31, Thursday,6-9 p.m. http://www.oddfellascantina.com
I also have a new c.d., "ARTEMIS" It is my favorite recording so far, a mix of instrumentals, covers and originals, with plenty of guitar.
Just e-mail me if you are interested in one.
Happy Summertime,
Lee
